Fix "...was unable to start correctly (0x000007b)"

When we are using Windows 7 or 8 in 64 bit version, we sometimes find a warning which is mentioning "The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to close the application". This warning may be accoured because Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package is not properly configured.

The archive contains 5 files : mfc100.dll, mfc100u.dll, msvcr100.dll, msvcp100.dll and msvcr100_clr0400.dll.
  1. Copy and paste all those files into C:\Windows\System32
  2. Restart your computer.
Your program now should be fine.

If you're having trouble to download those files, you may go to this link to solve this issue.

  1. Great solution but I think its faster and more easy download missed .dll library file from http://fix4dll.com/mfc100u_dll and add it into the right directory follow the instruction. I made like this and you don't need to install any additional tools or software.
